Fukada Salvage & Marine Works was founded in July 1910 in Kure, Hiroshima as Fukuda Marine Operations. In July 1949 we reorganized to become Fukada Salvage Co., and again in July 1988 we changed our business name to the present Fukada Salvage & Marine Works Co., Ltd.
While we began primarily as a marine salvage business, we have since been actively involved in steel structure iInstallation, offshore engineering, and other infrastructural improvement projects that help drive nations, and we have taken major responsibility in large-scale projects such as long-span bridge construction and maintenance of ports, airports, and the like. We are currently introducing deep sea research equipment and other cutting-edge equipment to our fleet to aggressively tackle ocean development projects.
